Stethoscopes for Students

Welcome to our Stethoscopes for Students Campaign!

Our Project:

To help welcome our next generation of physicians, the Medical Alumni Association (MAA) of the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine is again offering its “Stethoscopes for Students” initiative. The goal of the program is to provide all incoming medical students in the Class of 2021 with a UM Miller-branded stethoscope, donated by alumni and faculty.

Here’s where you can help.

As proud alumni and faculty, your gift of $250 will cover the cost of one stethoscope. On orientation day, each student will receive a stethoscope, along with a note from the donor.

Giving options of all levels are available.

Why Contribute:

The stethoscope is one of the most enduring symbols of the medical profession. To the patient, it signifies trust, compassion, and hope. For those who have the privilege to wear one, it embodies knowledge, dedication, and care. For the future physician, it will be a continual reminder that an alumni or faculty member from our school made an investment on their behalf. The gift not only alleviates the cost of a necessary, but expensive, tool, it will also serve as a welcome to the Miller School family.
